The Dublundikin Party!

Jodi and Jim invited us and the Dubinskis over on Sunday night for a backyard party. The mood was festive, the ambiance inviting, the treehouse enchanting and the company top notch. Here's some fun shots from the night!

Tennis Anyone?

Yesterday Mike and I dusted off our 80's style tennis raquets and headed out to the courts. Mind you, it has been about 15 years since either of us has graced a tennis court...and about another 5-7 years prior to that. All in all, we did pretty well but Mike clearly dominated the court...well "our court"- haha. You can see his intensity in the shots below- haha- even Mike was cracking up at these shots!

The photos on this site would lead one to answer "NO"...and so I am determined to do something about that. Well, actually, I'm not THAT determined, I just realized it might be nice to include more info on Mike or Taylor or me. So....I'll see what I can do....stay posted!

KC's Cheetah Girl 2 party!

Disney Channel had it's premiere of a new movie last night called Cheetah Girls 2. This was a much anticipated event for KC and her friends so hey- why not have a party?! Kc invited over a few friends, they all dressed in cheetah print and "Cheetah girl colors" and ate LOTS of junk food while watching and dancing to the movie! Seated from left to right on the couch photo are KC's friends Savannah (who she knows from softball), Faith (who lives down the block), KC , Lorianna (who she knows from church) and Erin (who she knows from her brief 3 months in public school during 3rd grade). They all had a great time and even choreographed a cute dance afterward before the parents came!

Homeschooling - Year 8 !!!!!

Taylor checks out what I believe is the Knapp's blogsite on his new laptop computer. God blessed Taylor with this gift and it will be particularly helpful and practical for his high school years (which he has begun this week!) Of course Mom and Dad still get to use it for missions trips!

A huge blessing to Eileen...Mike takes over Taylor's science this year. Here Taylor runs his first experiment of the year and loves it! And the kitchen is still intact. PTL!

Tubing!

Got a call from our friend Nick at 4:30 ish..."Hey, what are you doing? You want to go out on the boat and go tubing?" SURE!!!! We had a blast! Check out some of the shots.

K.C. played her second year in Mt Pleasant Softball league this year. She did really well and the team won about half the games. Last year, KC started without any experience, not even knowing the rules really and managed to get a hit and a walk by the season's end. This year, she hit the ball almost everytime she was at bat! Their final game went into extra innings and KC stepped up with one run needed to win and 2 outs. I just prayed "Lord- Your will be done!". She hit the ball and got safely to first base! The rest of the team hit well also and they ended up winning the game!
